“Anyone who says they have only one life to live must not know how to read a book.”

  1. Good morning, I am up for this challenge, I can cross off quite a few already. Love a list! Time may be against me but I will give it a shot.
I have just started reading The door that led to where by Sally Gardner. I am loving the first few chapters and hope the rest of the story is as good as the beginning.
On the adult front I am reading the latest Anne Tyler book – A spool of blue thread – all about family – it is like peeling an onion all these underlying layers. Really enjoying my reading, if only I could stay awake a bit longer at night!

    • Hi Sandra, I am exactly the same! I get into bed and get comfy and the next thing I know I’m sleeping on my book. I have only read one Anne Tyler book because I struggled with it quite a bit! I wasn’t able to connect with her writing at all! I have just finished Americanah by Chimamanda Ngozi Adichie and it was a fantastic read! It took forever to read because it was so dense. It is a fascinating look at race and how we (humans) treat those who are different. A must read!

I am also looking forward to making my way through this list – I agree there is something so satisfying about ticking off a list!!!
